Privacy Policy

How we handle information you share with the Student Chapter of Central Louisiana.

Effective October 30, 2026. The Student Chapter of Central Louisiana (“the Chapter,” “we”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects Louisiana high school students to careers in the skilled trades. This policy explains what information we collect through studentchapterofcenla.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you send us. When you use a form on this site, we receive what you type into it. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, phone number, organization or school, the topic and text of your message, and the answers and details you submit. The forms are: contact, Cenla Trades Day registration, vendor and exhibitor sign-up, sponsor inquiry, newsletter sign-up, and the scholarship application (which also asks for school, grade and GPA).

Teacher accounts. Teachers approved by the Chapter sign in with a one-time link sent to their email. We store the teacher’s name, school, email and phone, and the class roster information the teacher enters, such as student names, graduation year, shirt size, a parent or guardian email, and whether a permission slip has been returned. Roster information is visible to the teacher who entered it and to Chapter administrators.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags, which use cookies or similar technologies to record how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location, and the site or ad that brought you here. We use this to see which pages help families, schools and supporters, and to measure our Google Ads.

Donations. This website does not collect payment card or bank information. Gifts are made on Share Cenla, a giving site run by the Central Louisiana Community Foundation, under that site’s own terms and privacy policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: Chapter board members and volunteers who need it to run programs; scholarship reviewers (for scholarship applications); the service providers that help us operate the site, namely Cloudflare (website hosting and database), Google (email, Analytics and Ads) and Make.com (automation that sends our notifications and emails); and anyone we are required by law to share it with.
